The B95 Gotham: A Supercar Fit for Bruce Wayne
When the Pininfarina Battista already boasts an incredible 1,900 horsepower and performance specs straight out of a comic book, how do you push the boundaries even further? Enter the B95 Gotham, a car designed specifically with a superhero in mind—Bruce Wayne, to be exact.
A Collaboration with DC Comics and Warner Bros.
The B95 Gotham represents the first collaboration between Automobili Pininfarina, Wayne Enterprises, Warner Bros. Discovery, and DC Comics. According to Paolo Dellachà, CEO of Automobili Pininfarina, the project is all about reimagining Bruce Wayne as a real-life client. The vision isn’t to create a flashy Batmobile but rather a luxurious, refined car that aligns with Wayne's persona as a billionaire philanthropist.
Electric Power Meets Superhero Performance
This all-electric roadster is more than just a concept. With its 1,900 horsepower generated by four electric motors and a 120 kWh battery, the B95 Gotham offers a top speed of 186 mph. It can also go from 0 to 60 mph in less than 2 seconds, a performance worthy of the Dark Knight himself.
Understated Elegance: A Car for Bruce Wayne
The aesthetics of the B95 Gotham emphasize what Dellachà calls "understated elegance." While it carries the performance of a superhero vehicle, the design is tailored for Bruce Wayne, not Batman. The focus is on creating a sophisticated, luxurious look that fits Wayne’s high-profile yet private lifestyle, rather than the overt flashiness of a Batmobile.
